Canada invests over $9.3 million to support Francophone minority communities

 On International Francophonie Day (March 20, 2025), the Government of Canada announced:
✅ $9.3 million CAD in funding for 12 new projects
✅ Supporting economic and population growth of Francophone communities outside Quebec
✅ Strengthening recruitment and support for French-speaking immigrants
✅ Removing barriers in Francophone immigration
✅ Targets:
📈 8.5% of French-speaking immigrants in 2025
📈 10% by 2027
💪 In 2024: Reached 7.21% (far exceeding the initial target of 1.21%)
