OINP NEW EMPLOYER PORTAL LAUNCHING ON JULY 2, 2025
The province of Ontario will officially launch the Employer Portal on July 2, 2025, replacing the traditional paper-based submission process for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). This marks a shift from a candidate-driven to an employer-driven application process for the Employer Job Offer streams.
🔎 What’s Changing?
Instead of candidates submitting their Expression of Interest (EOI) first, employers will now initiate the process by creating an account and submitting job offer details directly via the Employer Portal.
Only after the employer’s information is verified can candidates submit or resubmit their EOI.
🚀 Key Features of the Employer Portal:
- Full online submission and management of job offer applications—no more paper forms
- Integrated with My Ontario, the province’s one-stop digital government platform
- Secure document upload and storage
- Direct communication between employers and OINP officers
- Auto-fill features to reduce duplication and save time
- Option to add contacts or authorized representatives
- Real-time status tracking of applications
⚠️ Critical Dates to Watch:
- June 20–July 2, 2025: Candidates cannot submit new EOIs for Employer Job Offer streams
- June 21–22, 2025: All current EOIs will be automatically withdrawn
- June 27 (end of business)–June 29, 2025: Entire OINP system unavailable (all streams affected)
- July 2, 2025: Employer Portal goes live
- Employers must register an account and submit job offer details before candidates can submit EOIs
‼️ Note: Withdrawn EOIs will not carry over. Candidates must resubmit from scratch once the employer has completed the initial steps.
📌 Three OINP Streams Affected:
- Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream
- Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream
- Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream
