Update on Citizenship Application Processing – 2025

🔹 Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has updated policies, procedures, and guidelines related to citizenship applications. Specifically:
✅ The list of identity documents in the supporting documents section for Minor 5(1) and 5(2) applications has been revised to accurately reflect the accepted documents.
✅ New identity documents have been added to the supporting documents section for Canadian Armed Forces citizenship applications.
If you or your child are applying for Canadian citizenship, make sure to check the updated list of required documents to ensure you have all the necessary paperwork.
If you are a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, some of your identity documents may now be officially recognized for your citizenship application.
