New Update from IRCC: Removal of Pre-Express Entry Processing Instructions
🔹 On March 5, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced an important update: The removal of pre-Express Entry processing instructions for the three major immigration programs:
✅ Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC) – Federal Skilled Worker Program
✅ Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – Canadian Experience Class
✅ Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) – Federal Skilled Trades Program
📌 What does this mean?
Before Express Entry was introduced in 2015, applications for permanent residency under these three categories followed a different process. However, since Express Entry became the standard system, all applications must go through this platform.
📢 Now, IRCC has officially removed the old processing instructions from its website to ensure that everyone follows the current procedure.
⚠️ Important Notes:
✅ There are no changes to the current application process – you must still apply through Express Entry.
✅ Be cautious if someone claims they can help you apply under the old process (before Express Entry) – this may be misleading information.
✅ Always check IRCC’s official website to avoid falling into scams or unreliable intermediaries.
